Discomfort management
Although most clients can undergo electrolysis without significant discomfort, some may wish to discuss discomfort management options or require them as part of appropriate clinical care.
For clients who would like to discuss discomfort management, independent medical practitioners are available in clinic. Where clinically appropriate, the treating medical practitioner can provide an independent medical assessment and discuss suitable discomfort management options.
Following assessment, local anaesthetic may be considered appropriate for some clients. Any decision to prescribe or administer local anaesthetic is made solely by the treating medical practitioner, exercising their independent clinical judgement.
Where local anaesthetic is provided, additional medical fees apply. For client convenience, Evolution Electrolysis manages the administrative collection of these independent medical fees as part of the overall treatment charges.
Estimated costs are provided solely to assist with budgeting and do not indicate that local anaesthetic will be recommended, prescribed, or suitable in every case.
